Adderall is a brand name. Stimulant medication composed of racemic amphetamine aspartate monohydrate. Works by increasing the amount of dopamine and in the brain. Drug also acts as a dopamine and norepinephrine. Adderall is relatively high potential for abuse and addiction. Especially if the drug is misused. Adderall directly affects the metabolic reward pathway in the brain.
